Verification Of Fake Medicines
A unique product certificate is issued with the product. It is cheap to produce and can be printed on plain paper but is impossible to issue for anyone else than the registered supplier. It cannot be forged and has duplication detection capabilities.
kNOwFAKE consists of 3 main items: the product certificate, the scanner application and the backend system.
How It Works:
The certificate is unique for each item and digitally signed making it impossible to falsify. It consists of a patented digital code that can be printed on any kind of paper and will contain all vital information about the product and the producer.
Scanning the certificate with the app will show the stored information and also lookup the certificate in the backend system. The backend contains info on all issued certificates and tracks each individual scan to detect possible duplication and let the producer keep track on the end point for the product.
The certificate is possible to duplicate, but the scanning history and pattern will reveal duplication and alert the consumer on the next scan.
